Merel

Hej! My name is Merel, I am 31 years old and in march 2022 I took the step to move to Sweden from The Netherlands. Jag talar lite svenska och lära mig svenska på SIFA nu. I moved to Sweden because I love being surrounded by nature. I love to be creative in any form, long nature walks, reading, learning and to travel with our van. 

I am a big catlover and used to have a cat, Maki, for 7 years. She sadly passed away last year. I really miss being around cats and would love to take care of your cat(s)! 

Next to taking good care of your cat, I love to take the time for them and play and pet them or maybe take a book and read on the couch for a while to keep your cat company while you are away. I find it mentally relaxing to just sit with a cat and play with them. I am a calm person and think trust and bonding is the most important with cats so I won't force them into anything they don't want, the initiative is with them and I respect their needs. 

When you give me the key to your house, I am responsible for making sure your house is neat and your plants are healthy apart from your cats.

I am available for daily visits or if you wish twice a day. 

My work is pretty flexible due to which I could take care of your pets. I am looking forward to meet you!
