Hi there! My name is Emilie and I am a master's student at Uppsala University studying biology with a specialization in ecology and conservation. While I am passionate about nature and wildlife, a huge part of my heart belongs to dogs! Ever since I lost my best friend of 13 years three years ago, I've been missing the love that only a dog can give - you know what I'm talking about.
I'm the type of person who gets a huge smile on her face if she even passes a dog on the street. If you choose me to take care of your furry friend, you can expect them to get showered with love and cuddles and attention, if that's what they want of course. I have taken care of shelter dogs before that had major trust issues that I had to be more respectful of, but eventually they came to trust me and they wag their tail feverently whenever they see me now. I also have experience caring for dogs who require a special diet as well as taking medication.
Whether you are looking for someone to drop by during the day, give your pet some good exercise, or to take care of your furry friend overnight, whether at your home or mine, I'm your girl!
Really you'll be the one doing me a favour by lending me your bundle of joy! :)
Emilie is a very good sitter. I left written instructions which were followed exactly. It was so nice getting daily photos of my two cats when I was away. They were so relaxed when I came back, it was like I never left! Definitely would recommend Emilie to anyone looking for a cat sitter in Uppsala.
I am a student with a background in wildlife biology and well-versed in mammalian anatomy and physiology, as well as experience in animal care through various jobs I've had. Your pet will be in good hands with me!
