Portuguese, I have always lived with animals, dogs (big and small) and cats.
I’m also a psychologist and have a deep interest in animal behaviour. Have been in formal training with my Germain Shepherd (in Portugal), and the little one, a Podengo, also from Portugal, who lived in Sweden with me for a while but now is back in Portugal with my family.
I don’t usually go out during the weekend so I’d be more than happy to take care of your friend then, he or she are more than welcome to stay over at my place whenever necessary!
I have no animals in Sweden, at the moment (unfortunatel), so your friend will have my apartment and my full attention to him or herself. In fact, that’s the main reason I’m offering to do this - I miss the four legged ones so much!
There‘s a dog park very close to my place (in Lilla Essingen), as well as many nice green places to explore on our walks, I look forward to showing it around.
At the moment, I work full time so it’s not possible to take care your your dear friend during the week days, just weekends.
Also, I speak Swedish, but English is the only way to make sure there is no mistakes, and to make it sound like myself :)
Any questions, please just ask!
I have been in dog training classes for some time, regularly. I can say I have experience in dog behavior and training.
