Hi! My name is Andrea, and animals have been an essential part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Italy, I was always surrounded by pets—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and birds—which taught me early on how to understand their body language, unique personalities, and needs. My passion goes beyond just loving animals; I bring solid hands-on experience to the table. I spent 3 to 4 years volunteering at an animal shelter in Italy, handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. This taught me how to read behavioral triggers (like reactions to other dogs, bikes, or children) and safely manage strong or energetic breeds like Pit Bulls and Amstaffs with calm confidence. Additionally, I am currently taking a non-therapeutic canine osteopathy and massage course, allowing me to provide gentle, relaxing techniques that promote joint and muscle comfort. I also have a keen awareness of breed-specific health traits, such as respiratory needs in brachycephalic dogs or back care for Dachshunds. What I Offer: Dog Walking: Active, safe, and engaging walks adapted to your dog's pace and needs (30 to 60 minutes). Dog & Cat Drop-In Visits: 30 to 45-minute visits to your home to feed, refresh water, clean litter boxes, play, and provide affection. House Sitting / Overnight Care: Dedicated care in your own home so your pets stay relaxed in their familiar environment while you are away. Small Pets & Birds: Caring, knowledgeable attention for guinea pigs, rodents, and birds. Environment & Practical Details: I am located in the quiet, green neighborhood of Sörby / Sörbyängen in Örebro, right next to beautiful walking trails. I welcome all breeds and sizes, provided they are not aggressive toward humans. I speak Italian, English, and French, making communication smooth and straightforward. You can expect regular photos and updates during every booking so you can have complete peace of mind while away!
