Milda

Hi! My name is Milda, I am a 26 year old Interaction Design student from Lithuania currently residing in Malmö. I am learning to speak Swedish, but for now it’s easier for me to communicate in English.

I absolutely love animals and have grown up owning dogs and cats with my family. Right now I am unable to have a pet of my own but I happily help others take care of their pets whenever I can. All of my friends and family members contact me first whenever they are planning to be away from home and need someone to watch their dogs or cats, because they know how much I enjoy being with animals and do my best to take good care of them. I also have an ongoing arrangement of watching a corgi from a family I found on a dog-sitting group on Facebook. I have been helping them with their dog for a year and now they leave him with me whenever they are away from home, for as long as two weeks at a time.

I have experience with watching dogs of all ages, from a young American Staffordshire that’s just a couple months old to a 14 year old senior Yorkshire Terrier. I have also watched my friend’s cat after she got surgery and needed special care, so with me your pet will always be taken care of according to their specific needs.

I love to take walks with dogs, which can be either long and active or short, depending on your dog. I do like to let them explore and not rush them while walking, letting the dog stop and sniff around as this gets them mentally stimulated, prevents hyperactivity and keeps their brain healthy.

I also offer dogs to stay for a day, overnight or longer at my apartment or your own place. I live in Limhamn which is a very dog friendly neighbourhood with dog parks and green areas where I can let your dog roam leash free!

I can also do home visits to make sure your dog or cat is fed and has water, and stay with them if needed so they don’t feel lonely.
